Your chance to be part of Shine!

Do you have a talent – for singing, dancing, acting, play an instrument, comedy, poetry… or something different? If so, Knowsley needs you!

Auditions will take place this summer to find the most incredible performers in Knowsley who would like to showcase their skills at a prestigious event taking place in the borough, organised by Knowsley Council.

The first ever Knowsley Showcase entitled “Shine” is a chance for musicians, dancers, poets, actors, filmmakers, gamers – in fact, anyone with a fantastic talent to show – to experience performing live in front of a live audience. You never know, if could be your first step on the road to success and stardom!

Auditions are now being organised to help identify the very best performers to be picked to be part of this exciting event so if you think you might have what it takes to add the ‘wow factor’ to the event, then now’s the time to get your audition ready!

You can send in a two minute video of you performing your talent via Whatsapp to 07717888530 (this doesn’t have to be the actual performance, it is only to give the organisers an idea of what your performance involves)

Whether you’re auditioning at Knowsley Feegood Festival or sending in a video via Whatsapp, please apply on the council’s website or fill out this form and post it to:
Knowsley Culture Development and Events Service,
Prescot Registrars,
High Street,
Prescot
L34 3LD

Please apply no later than Friday 14 September 2018.

Knowsley Culture Development and Events Service will respond to let you know if you have been selected or not by Friday 21 September 2018.

Tickets will go on sale in the next few months for the event, which will take place at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park from 7pm on Friday, October 19 2018, and which promises to be an evening of fantastically varied entertainment. Best of all, each and every performer will have a connection to Knowsley.

For queries about Shine! or to express an interest in tickets, please contact Carla Simkin on 0151 443 5353.
