Borough-wide invite to Trust's Annual Members' Meeting

The Annual Members’ Meeting of Knowsley’s local specialist mental health, learning disability and community health services provider is scheduled for Tuesday 15 July.
5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has issued an open invitation to all current and prospective members to attend Orford Jubilee Hub on Jubilee Way, Warrington for an uplifting and comprehensive update on this past year’s activities.
“‘We value, encourage and recognise everyone’s contribution and feedback’ is one of our five Trust Values,” says Bernard Pilkington, Chairman of the Trust.
“As such this is a great opportunity for you to meet your local Governor; feedback on the service improvements you’d like to see and help us to recognise the contributions staff, service users, carers and members made to this Trust over the past 12 months.
“I am personally looking forward to revisiting and celebrating all the local, regional and national award successes we have enjoyed for shining examples of best practice.”
The Trust’s annual report, quality accounts and financial accounts will be presented at the event which starts at 10.30am and finishes at 12noon.
Anyone, including non-members, is welcome to attend a marketplace showcasing the Trust’s services and the voluntary sector from 9.45am to 10.30am and from 12noon till 12.30pm.
Refreshments will be provided and members can reclaim their travel expenses on the day.
“Our mental health and wellbeing ‘Ignite Your Life’ workshop on Wednesday 9 July – taking place at Walton Hall and Gardens in Warrington – is a great warm-up to the meeting; giving everyone the opportunity to browse our arts and crafts exhibitions, and try their hand at everything from African drumming to complimentary therapies, healthy eating and sports!” added Bernard.
For further information on the Annual Members Meeting or becoming a member, contact the Trust’s Membership Manager Gemma Watts on 01925 664803 or email ft.membership@5bp.nhs.uk
For details about ‘Ignite Your Life’ contact Katherine Earlam on 01925 664450 or email Katherine.earlam@5bp.nhs.uk
‘Ignite Your Life’ is just one of a number of events taking place in the build-up to the main Disability Awareness Day event which takes place on Sunday 13 July.
